Hi, I’m Mandi - the owner and maker behind Embroida.
It started with personalisation.
Embroida began by creating personalised baby pieces and
gifts.
Names embroidered onto blankets, clothing and keepsakes
turned ordinary products into something individual — something chosen
specifically for one little person.
But over time, customers began asking us for more.
Not simply another personalised product, but ways to
preserve something they already treasured.
And that changed the direction of Embroida.
Then the stories became part of the embroidery.
Customers brought us baby clothes they could not bear to part with.
Photographs they wanted transformed into simple embroidered line drawings.
Children’s artwork that deserved somewhere more permanent than the fridge.
Names, dates, handwriting and little details connected to people and memories.
Embroidery became more than decoration.
The clothes they outgrew could become something new.
Baby clothing can carry an extraordinary amount of meaning.
The outfit they came home from hospital in.
A favourite little romper.
A piece bought by someone special.
Clothes that are far too small now, but impossible to throw away.
Our Memory Sweaters give those garments another life by incorporating sentimental fabrics into personalised appliqué embroidery.
Instead of remaining folded in a box, part of that memory can be worn again.

We preserve the character of the original drawing and transform it into embroidery, creating clothing and keepsakes that capture exactly who they were at that moment.
